Our Mission

We believe that the Second Coming of Jesus is imminent. We therefore accept the challenge to train, motivate and mobilise our members to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, engaging and empowering in meeting the needs of our local community.

Our Vision

To be a Christ-centred, Bible-based, inclusive and friendly church where members are equipped and empowered to positively impact one another and the wider community.

We’d love to get to know you better and help you feel at home. We know that building church relationships isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. We understand there might be things about church or faith that seem confusing or scary. You are not alone. We’ve all been in your shoes and we want to to help you and answer any questions that you might have. Please feel free to contact us at any time and come and visit us soon.

Get Involved

There are various activities and events that you can get involved in. There is something for everyone. Getting involved is one of the best ways to build relationships as well as grow spiritually. Check out our events calendar and get involved today.

Read your Bible

When we read the Bible, we learn who God is and how He works in our lives. You can also access the Bible on our live streaming page, on the Brixton SDA App or by downloading The Bible App so you can carry your Bible with you wherever you go! Also, remember to watch our daily devotional videos

Pray every day

Some people are uneasy about praying because they don’t know where to start. Prayer is simply a conversation with God. It’s a time to talk to Him about anything that’s on our mind and receive his direction and encouragement. Let us pray with you, share your prayer requests on our prayer wall.

Get Baptised

Baptism is the external expression of an internal decision. The water is symbolic of Jesus washing away sin and giving us new life. Your decision to follow Jesus Christ is the most important decision you will ever make! If you would like to be baptised contact us here

We believe church is about people, people creating relationships with Jesus and with one another.

WORSHIP SERVICES

All of our services will include teachings from the Bible exploring practical ways that we can apply it to our daily lives. On arrival, you will be greeted by ushers who can show you to a seat or answer any questions you may have. Most of our members will be dressed smartly, but we believe God cares more about our hearts than our clothes. We want you to feel at ease, so wear whatever clothes you’re comfortable in.

During the service, the lyrics of the songs are projected on large screens, so even if you don’t know the songs at first, you can join in when you feel comfortable. The words from Bible texts are also projected onto the screen so don’t worry if you do not have a Bible.

Every Saturday from 09:45 until 11:15 we have a service called Sabbath School. Here we study the Bible together in small groups and apply it to our daily lives.

There are specialised classes for children of different age groups.  One of our ushers or members will direct your child to the correct room. After this service, your children will return to you for the main worship service. We aim to provide a fun experience for your children and ensure that they are introduced to the weekly Bible message in a creative way.

Lunch is provided for all visitors. We encourage you to stay and eat with us.
