INSTRUCTIONS
Opening Cash balance
The opening cash balance is the total cash you have in your position on the date you start using this Tool. It includes cash in the bank, as well as those in your purse, pockets etc. Once you have identified all these resources, simply total these amounts and in put it into the area highlighted “red” in the Opening Balance row.
To input information into the spreadsheet:
Select the cell in which you intend to enter the information
Key in the information and then press the “enter key” to exit the cell
Make sure you save the data before closing the spreadsheet
How to edit the description?
If the description displayed in a row (for example, council tax) does not reflect your personal circumstances and you wish to change it to something else; just simply select the cell and type over the existing information. Once completed press enter to exit the cell. Always save after inputting information into the spreadsheet.
